She is an expert in complex primary and secondary medical and surgical glaucomas, and is a specialist glaucoma surgeon in both classic techniques and minimally-invasive surgeries (MIGs)
She is also a honorific lecturer at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid and current director and evaluator of several PhD theses related to glaucoma.
